Founder and president, Kimberly Strenk’s public relations career has included some of the best-known and respected premium consumer lifestyle brands from specialty fashion retailer Nordstrom. to Williams Sonoma. a national specialty retailer of high quality products for the home. In order to leverage her lifestyle brands expertise and turn her focus on launching and growing fledgling consumer brands, in 2008 Kimberly launched her namesake firm, Kimberly Strenk PR, Inc.
Prior to 2008, Kimberly was the director of public relations for emerging brands at Williams Sonoma. Charged with building the public relations team responsible for both public relations and marketing programs, including partnerships and advertising, Kimberly was responsible for the successful multi-channel launch of Williams Sonoma Home, the re-launch of an older category (holdeverything) into a lifestyle brand and the continued growth of young brand, west elm.
Kimberly came to Williams Sonoma after tenure with several lifestyle brands including Karen Neuburger and Nordstrom, Inc.. Kimberly also worked with marketing communications agency, Double Forte on their major consumer accounts such as Bell Sports. In addition, Kimberly spent time at Weber Shandwick Worldwide in their start-up agency, Red Whistle Communications serving e-commerce and social networking brands.
Kimberly began her career at Nordstrom, Inc. based in Seattle, WA and continued moving along the West Coast to Williams Sonoma, Inc. in San Francisco, CA. She now resides in Austin, Texas with her husband and three daughters. She holds a bachelor’s of art degree from the University of Washington.
